Preamble

The Sycamore Alumni Association is an organization of individuals dedicated to the goal of supporting, serving, recognizing and connecting Sycamore High School alumni.

Article I - Name
The name of the organization is the Sycamore High School Alumni Association. The Sycamore High School Alumni Association has been organized by a steering committee of Alumni and School District Administration.

Article II - Purpose
The purpose of the Alumni Association is to support, serve, recognize and connect Sycamore High School alumni. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Assisting with preparation of class reunions.
  • Recognizing outstanding alumni.
  • Assisting alumni with marketing their employment opportunities and their businesses with other alumni.
  • Developing newsletters, web-pages, social networks and other communication opportunities for alumni and the school.
  • Fundraising for special projects.
  • Development of scholarships and endowments to further assist Sycamore High School and its students and alumni.

Article III - Membership Fees

Membership fees will be determined annually by the Executive Committee no later than July 15th of each fiscal year.

Article IV - Fiscal Year

The fiscal year of the Alumni Association will be a twelve-month period beginning on July 1 and ending on June 30 of each year.
